Persona 5 School Test Answers: why getting them right is important

This isn't just story-based window dressing in Persona 5: one of the major character trait stats that is used in the game is  Knowledge , and your performance in school both impacts and is directly impacted by your knowledge stat. Knowledge is important: it helps you to pass certain speech checks, be that trying to chomp down an enormous burger or trying to get a little closer to a particularly smart confidant to advance your relationship .

Knowledge can also help to boost your popularity in a manner of speaking - if you get high marks on your exams, your  Charm , another key stat, will rise. Charm is one of the more difficult stats to grind, so this is useful - and also remember that any stat gains socially will carry over to new game plus, too.

Every time you get a question right in class you'll gain a little bit of knowledge, but that alone won't be enough, so be sure to take out the time to do some studying too. You can do this in a few places such as the Shibuya Cafe, Leblanc or the School Library. Below, we've listed all the test answers so you'll never get one wrong. We won't tell anyone about this little... aide-memoire. You're already a thief - what's a little grade massaging?

This is a dogshit page if you’re actually looking for P5R answers.

Thank you this was a great help.

Over the top graphics and the story line has improved more than the persona 5. Don’t get me wrong, the series is already great, but persona 5 royal has just impressed the daylights out of me.

1/24’s answers make no sense, not even related to what the question is asking

Are you playing P5 Royal?, they’ve changed several questions from the original version

7/1 isn’t baozi, it’s barbarian’s head

There’s no August…

Summer vacay

9/14 rental shop isn’t an option the answer is “Money loans for collateral” (option 1)

7/1 isn’t Baozi, its Barbarians Head

Again this guide is terrible. Like 7/1? Baozi is mentioned in the question. IT’S NOT EVEN ONE OF THE FOUR OPTIONS. FFS actually PLAY the game before writing a guide.

Its Barbarians Head btw

On the 6/8 to the question: Where does totalitarianism take things a step further than authoritarianism? The answer is #3 Controlling public thought.

Updated, Thanks!

10/22 is 15 and 10/24 is memory bias in Royal. November options may or may not be right, I haven’t gotten there yet.

Hi Kermit, thank you, it’s already updated 🙂

Um the dialoge in Royal is diffrent on 4/25 it’s still choice 1 and 3

1st choice: You unquestioningly support it.

3rd choice: You have a duty to correct it.

Thanks for the correction, DemonChan 22

Um 4/25 the answer is diffrent in Royal the option bar you can pick from it still the same choices like 1 and 3 but the dialogue is not the same 2st choice say “You unquestioningly support it” and the 3rd choice is “You have a duty to correct it”

5/7 is wrong – Femme Fatal is Fatal Women – Not soul mate.

Corrected, Gaz. TY

Can’t believe I’m attending class in a damn game and still cheating. You guys could’ve just put the exam answers here but nah. Good job.

All the Persona 5 Royal school answers and exam answers

Jul 11, 2022

Persona 5 Royal lets players answer questions during school exams to get precious social stats without wasting time.

A key part of any Persona game, on PlayStation or otherwise , is time management. A day in Persona normally has two periods of free time where players can hang out with friends, enter dungeons, or take part in other events. The trouble is that there’s a lot of missable content, making it important to balance grinding and fun.

Much of this missable content is gated behind social stat thresholds, with knowledge being one of the most important. The good news is that players have the chance to get boosts to knowledge without using free time on studying in Persona 5 Royal by answering questions in class.

Here is practise test questions for Microsoft Certification by Exam-labs .

Questions are asked on certain days throughout every playthrough. Most of these questions are based on real science and history, so answers can be found. The easiest way to get the school answers and answers to exams in Persona 5 Royal is to look them up based on the day.  With that in mind, here is every answer for an entire playthrough.

Persona 5 Royal school answers

In Persona 5 Royal, various teachers will ask the player or a party member to answer questions. The player can answer the questions and will have the ability to help their friends. This can help to bolster their relationship with their friends or raise their knowledge stat throughout the course of the game.

A new addition to Persona 5 Royal is the ability to dodge pieces of chalk thrown by Mr. Ushimaru, one of the teachers. Like the pop quizzes, Ushimaru will throw chalk on fixed days during each playthrough. They are noted alongside the answers below as “chalk dodge.”

Exam answers in Persona 5 Royal

Across Persona 5 Royal there are four exams. Each exam takes place across three days and it serves as a major event within the game, rushing players through those days. In order to perform well on exams, players need to have a high knowledge stat and answer a series of questions correctly. These questions tie back to subjects discussed during the semester.

Here are all the exam answers:

Persona 5 Royal May exam answers:

Persona 5 Royal July exam answers:

Persona 5 Royal October exam answers:

Persona 5 Royal December exam answers:

Worth noting is that while answering all questions correctly is necessary to score highly on exams, the knowledge stat is also of vital importance. If players haven’t grinded up their knowledge stat enough, they will not place highly.

What happens if I get an answer wrong in Persona 5?

If the player gets an answer wrong in Persona 5 Royal, there isn’t actually any sort of penalty. Players just miss out on the opportunity to get free social stats and bonuses with confidants.

While this might not sound like much, this is a definite missed opportunity. Leveling up social stats and getting points towards improving relationships with confidants without dedicating blocks of free time is quite important. Players only have so many blocks of free time to work with and each social stat needs to be maxed out in order to max out every confidant.

Persona 5 Royal artwork

An extra block of free time spent studying is time that isn’t being used to eat giant cheeseburgers or babysit Ryuji. Though It’s much easier to complete everything in Persona 5 Royal than Persona 5 vanilla, players should still actively look to answer every question correctly. Time management here is much more important than it was in beat-em-up spin-off Persona 5 Strikers .

Can I dodge chalk in Persona 5 Royal?

Players can dodge the chalk by moving the left stick after Joker notes that he “feels a murderous intent.”

There is RNG that comes into play based on the proficiency stat, so players may want to save right before the event in order to reload if the check is failed. As with answering questions in school, getting free charm from these saves time for other things later on. Players should make an effort to successfully dodge every thrown piece of chalk.

OCTOBER 17TH (MONDAY 10/17)

Today is the start of our midterm exams! You know how this works - you'll answer a bunch of questions based on older questions you answered in class and the day will just breeze on by. This also makes it look like HAERAVON got a lot more done than he actually did! Good times all around! With our max KNOWLEDGE we should be in good shape for these exams. Let's do it!

Monday is done! Onto Tuesday.

OCTOBER 18TH (TUESDAY 10/18)

Another day, another round of questions... all while our popularity plummets and rumors swirl... Nothing we can do about it now. Focus on your exam!

Out with Tuesday, in with Wednesday.

OCTOBER 19TH (WEDNESDAY 10/19)

Even more questions today! Keep going!

And that's it for our exams, and for Wednesday.

OCTOBER 20TH (THURSDAY 10/20)

Today is the KNOWLEDGE portion of the exam, where your performance doesn't matter, only your KNOWLEDGE score. Hopefully you're maxed out, and if you are, your exam results are going to be spectacular.

After that, some kids in our class will gossip, Futaba will IM you, Haru will get some counciling from Maruki, you'll chat with Haru as she tends her plants on the roof (pick whatever dialogue options you wish - we're kind of surprised this doesn't lead to Haru becoming a confidant, if we're hoenst) after which we'll meet up with the group at the hideout. Futaba will - with Makoto's keen mind - explain how the so-called Medjed provocation and Okumura were connected, and the implications behind having an enemy canny enough to set that up. Nothing ultimately comes from this, but we do resolve to find out more and fight back. After this you'll get some scenes with Sae and the SIU Director, the former of which is given unprecedented power to crush the Phantom Thieves.

Game on, Sae. Fortunately for us, we have a mole in the household of the woman assigned to take us down - an invaluable advantage we'd be foolish to squander. After a scene with Sae and Makoto we'll get a group IM informing us of the developments, follwing which we'll get new objectives:

Now that we're done with our exams and an exhausting series of scenes, we'll finally have some free time. We can't leave Leblanc, however, so you'll need to pass the time as productively as possible. As we have everything maxed already, we just read the "Learn Pro Darts" book we bought to make future games easier. Our stats might be maxed, but our BATON PASS RANK could use some work! Of course, darts is already easy enough, so if you have stats to max, give that preference, instead. It's ultimately up to you.

We'll go to sleep after that.

OCTOBER 21ST (FRIDAY 10/21)

You'll overhear some chatter on the train, then in the halls of Shujin Academy, and finally in your own classroom. The police are searching the school for clues, and every student - including us - will be questioned. You know, if these cops just looked at the phones of every student, we'd be screwed. Turns out it's bad enough already, as the police already know who our friends are. Not a good sign. Respond to the police with "Yeah, that happened." and "Is that really true?" . All in all, things go pretty smoothly... but we have to be prime suspects - friends with Yusuke and Haru, both of which had father figures subsequently targeted by the Phantom Thieves? A very public feud with Kamoshida?

We'll meet up at the hideout after school. Respond how you will, nothing of significance is really said, save for the fact that you'll be drafted into the "festival executive committee" by Makoto. Her motives make sense - it gives us a reason to congregate without looking suspicious. Might also help explain our previous, heretofore inexplicable bouts of fraternization.

After that it'll be evening, and once again you won't be able to leave Leblanc. Burn your time however you find most profitable - we opt to read another book:

This will unlock the planetarium at IKEBUKURO on your map.

We'll go to bed after that, but before the day moves on you'll see another short scene with the SIU Director. Guy twirls his mustache so much, he's practically capable of powered flight.

OCTOBER 22ND (SATURDAY 10/22)

More gossip on the train, then on the walk to school. When you get to school you'll get another question:

At school, we'll get a question today:

Answer correctly for the usual [_KNOWLEDGE +1_] boost. Math and witchcraft have something in common: people who like either too much should be burned at the stake.

Endure another group IM, after which we'll find ourselves stuck helping Makoto with the festival executive committee. Really don't like the guest these mouth-breathers at Shujin Academy keep picking... Respond how you wish during the meeting, after which you'll be back at Leblanc just in time to overhear the TV, where Akechi... defends us? Wow. A group IM follows, then respond to Sojiro however you wish.

After nearly a week of having little control over your activities, you're finally free to do something this evening. Head over to SHINJUKU and pay Chihaya for an AFFINITY READING - IWAI to pave the way for a rank up with him later. Despite that, we're not going to hang out with him tonight (even though he's the only one who sent us an invite); instead, head over to KANDA and hang out with Hifumi.

NOTE: You need RANK 5 KNOWLEDGE (Erudite) to progress onward with Hifumi at this point. If you've been following this guide, this isn't a problem for you.

Hang out with Hifumi and she'll tell you her mother's scheme for Hifumi's upcoming exhibition match. Respond with "What do you mean?" followed by "That won't work." , the latter of which will earn you [_HIFUMI AFFECTION +2_] . Hifumi will continue to explain the merits of her mother's plan, but for one fatal flaw: Hifumi actually wants to be a respected shogi player, not some eye-candy idol. Hifumi finds herself stuck between her dreams of proving herself as a professional shogi player and her mother's dreams of leveraging her daughter for financial stability, and only a change of heart will resolve the matter. Respond how you will for the next two options (why they give you "options" saying the same thing in different ways we'll never know) to get Hifumi's mother's name - "Mitsuyo Togo" - and a new request...

And that's all for today!

OCTOBER 23RD (SUNDAY 10/23)

No time to enjoy ourselves though, as we have another group meeting first thing this morning. Makoto will announce she's going to invite Akechi over for the school festival: not only is it the will of the students, but he has to have information. While trying to score information off Akechi is doubtlessly risky, we can't afford to play it safe anymore. Respond however you wish, and while BKSTUNT thinks this sounds like a bad idea... what choice do we really have at this point?

While our morning may be shot, we still have our evening left to do with as we please. Our confidant rank with Hifumi can't be boosted until we deal with her mother in MEMENTOS, but we did just put some effort into Iwai, so let's pay that off now by hanging out with him.

Seize the initiative and travel to the AIRSOFT SHOP in SHIBUYA to hang out with Iwai. Today he'll have an "escort" mission for you... meaning he wants you to babysit his son while he deals with Tsuda. Oh well. Free meal. Turns out Kaoru seems to think he's the deadweight in the family - respond with "Why would he say that?" followed by "You should ask him." and when Kaoru's done talking, Iwai will show up. Respond to him with "Girls." and "You should buy us something." , both of which will earn you [_IWAI AFFECTION +3_] , securing a rank up:

After dinner we'll get our post-hangout call from Iwai, thanking us for keeping Kaoru company. Tell him "He's my age, so it comes easier." for [_IWAI AFFECTION +2_] .

The day will end after this.

Shujin Academy is the educational home for Joker and most of the Phantom Thieves in Persona 5 and its expanded version, Royal. Not only are some of the main characters and villains at this school, but you’ll actually have to attend classes on a daily basis. That is what I aim to cover today in this Persona 5 Royal classroom answers guide.

In between saving the world via the Metaverse, you’ll have to go through the usual high school rigamarole. This involves attending class, answering your teacher’s questions, and even taking exams to keep in school.

Throughout the months of the in-game calendar , you’ll randomly have questions you’ll need to answer from your teacher. Take it from my three times playing this game: you’ll want to get them right, which is why you need this Persona 5 Royal classroom answers guide.

Persona 5 Royal doesn’t change up too much in the classroom from its original version. Many of the same questions are used throughout the months. The critical difference is that you now have questions to answer throughout the month of January in the expanded content and third semester. As such, regular Persona 5 players can use this, too. For April through January, here are all the test and classroom answers you’ll need for Persona 5 Royal.

Persona 5 Royal Classroom Overview

Persona 5 Royal Classroom Answers

Persona 5 Royal doesn’t change a whole lot from the previous version of the game. You still play as Joker and must go to class every day in the calendar with few exceptions. Yes, even heroes who save the world must go to class and get an education for the future.

There are a few purposes behind this feature in this already massive JRPG, not least of which is the realism it obtains. There is something fun and even trivial about going to class in the game and reliving your own high school days if you are an adult like me.

It’s a fascinating aspect of Persona 5 Royal that likely makes it the most realistic high school sim-style game I’ve ever played. Well, when you aren’t in the Metaverse, at least. Better yet, if you want a glimpse of what high school life is like in Japan, this is a game you should check out. Without further ado, though, here’s everything you need to know about the classroom section of Persona 5 Royal.

For starters, there are in-game benefits for completing the classroom answers in Persona 5 Royal. The main one is upping the social stats that you have for Joker. The game has five main social stats, with Knowledge being the most important for your school life.

That said, there are some others, like Charm, that can be affected by the classroom answers. Getting the correct answer will show off your Knowledge to the class and generally raise it in the process. But there are times when you might help out a struggling student with the answer and receive some Charm points in the process.

For these social stat boosts alone, you should aim to get every answer correct in the classroom. There is no reason to get them wrong, especially since this isn’t an optional activity. You can’t honestly avoid these classroom questions since they are part of your requirement of going to school every day.

Persona 5 Royal Classroom Answers

The Knowledge stat is one of Joker’s five primary social stats in Persona 5 Royal. If you’ve played some of the other Persona games, you likely already know what this is used for. However, the real reason you want to get the test answers right is to boost this for its other purposes.

The Knowledge stat isn’t just for show. It is used in some of the Confidants you can hang out with in Royal. If you want to deepen your bond and romance certain characters in the game, you’ll need your Knowledge stat to be fully maxed out.

In addition, there is a distinct difference between the regular classroom answers and the test ones. If you nail your exams with a high Knowledge stat and the right answers, you’ll be at the top of your class. You can even become the number one student in your grade, granting you a special item from Sojiro and raising your Charm stat due to your popularity.

Persona 5 Royal Classroom Answers

As mentioned, you’ll get two main types of questions in Persona 5 Royal. The first is the standard classroom questions, where one of your teachers will ask you a question on the spot. The other is the exams, which are test weeks that run for several days in a row.

They will generally involve recycled questions from the regular days, so you should know the answer if you pay attention. The exam questions are mostly self-answered like the standard questions, but they also are automated on the final day based on your current Knowledge stat.

I have all of the Persona 5 Royal classroom answers for you below to check out. They are divided up by the month of the in-game calendar year for you, too, so you can quickly locate the ones you currently need, with August being the only month in the cycle that you don’t have any questions due to summer break and the school trip that happens then.

I even note the date of the question and answer so that you are able to easily sort through this mess and find what you’re looking for. Let’s take a look. Keep in mind that some of the questions have been edited and changed for organizational purposes, so they may differ some from the in-game versions.

All April Classroom Answers

April is the first month of the school year when you begin playing as Joker. April is also when most schools start the school year in Japan. Though this is a shorter month than some others due to the beginning of the game and the tutorial section, a few questions are given to Joker in the classroom.

Persona 5 April Classroom Answer April 12

Question: What does the dictionary from the Devil give as the answer for the Hider Factor when it comes to how mankind is progressing?

Answer: Villains

Side note: This is a bit of a confusing one as you have an image of a triangle-like figure with two lines marked A and another B. It shouldn’t affect your answer too much, though.

Question: You have these two lines that are marked as A and B. When it comes to these lines, which of the two seems to have the most length?

Answer: Neither of the lines is the longer one

Persona 5 April Classroom Answer April 23

Question: What did Emperor Nero dominate during the Olympics in history? Was it music, racing between chariot vehicles, or acting?

Answer: All of the above

Side note: This is the first time in the game that one of your classmates — Ann, in this case — asks you for help with a question. There are three possible solutions here, but only one of them is the correct answer. The catch here is that this is also the first time you get a question with two parts to it. You’ll need to get both parts right for the full stat boost and correct answer here.

Ann’s Question: What’s that phrase meant to convey? “My country, right or wrong?”

First Answer: Select that you unquestionably support it

Second Answer: Then tell Ann the answer “you have a duty to correct it.”

Question: Do you know the name of the theorem named after the particular number that is shown in this image?

Answer: Four-color theorem

Persona 5 April Classroom Answer April 30

Side note: Take note that the final answer of April is almost like a mini-exam in its own right. There are questions and answers you need to get all correct on this day that is, technically, part of the same problem. If you get all of them right, you’ll get the most Knowledge boost, which is worth it.

Question 1: First off, we have the “wunder” section of the word. What does this part mean?

Answer 1: Wonder

Question 2: After that, we have the “kind” section. What could this mean?

Answer 2: Child

Question 3: With all of those answers now in mind, let’s put it all together. In the end, what does wunderkind mean in practice?

Answer 3: A prodigy
