Telecommunication industry is one of the biggest industries in India. This industry is contributing to India's GDP in a great manner. The changes that took place within the industry were phenominol during the last decade. In this the Reliance Jio was a game changer to the rest of the companies in the industry. Now jio is the market leader. The reports indicated that jio is becoming the favourate network in the industry due to its plans, network speed and customer services. This study mainly aims in studying the customer satisfaction towards Reliance jio sim with special reference to Thiruvillwamala Panchayath.

Streamlined telecommunication holds the power of removing innumerable constraints and can bring skyscraping satisfaction to its users through its effective services. However the sudden hike in the tariffs by the telecomm service providers has resulted into the need of evaluating the satisfaction level of customers with reference to different services provided by the topnotch Indian telecom company Reliance Jio Infocomm. Paired sample t-test is applied to rate the satisfaction level of customers for different service quality parameters for both pre and post price hike period of Reliance Jio. A total of nine service quality aspects have been identified to measure difference in satisfaction level for pre and post price hike period out of which 8 aspects depicted significant difference. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) has been adopted for proposing a model for assessing customers' preference for choosing Reliance Jio and to measure their satisfaction level out of its services. Further, to test the reliability and validity of the model resulted from EFA, Cronbach alpha is used for establishing reliability of the scale, while, Average Variance Extracted (AVE) and Scale Composite Reliability (SCR) are applied for establishing convergent validity of the scale. For establishing discriminant validity, square root of AVE and inter-construct correlation coefficient analysis is used. As an outcome of the study a validated model is developed which can be used by the decision makers while formulating strategies leading to customer satisfaction.

The study sought to understand and analyze the antecedents of customer satisfaction of Nepal Telecom‟s global system for mobile (GSM) network. It accompanied descriptive research design with using structured questionnaire survey instrument. The population of this study comprised all GSM customer of Nepal Telecom and the sample consisted 562 customers selected through judgmental sampling techniques. The main purpose of this study is to explore the impact of the dimensions of service quality on the perceived performance of Nepal Telecom phone users in Kathmandu valley of Nepal. The study has used the five service quality dimensions of SERVQUAL model. These five dimensions of service quality which were developed by Parasuraman namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy where used to measure the level of customers satisfaction in Nepal Telecom users. The study uses quantitative approach and done different descriptive and correlation analysis tools. Both descriptive and explanatory analysis is being used in this research. A questionnaire was designed and distributed to 200 respondents using a probabilistic sampling technique. Both descriptive and inferential statistics have been used to find out the mean score and correlation between the service quality dimensions with satisfaction level and to test the hypothesis. According to the findings of the study all the five dimensions of service quality have shown a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction. Pearson correlation analysis was carried out to examine the relationship between service quality dimensions and customer satisfaction and the results shows that all five dimensions have a strong positive relationship, reliability (0.587) and empathy (0.556) are first two dimensions which have strong and positive significant impact on customer satisfaction. As for the recommendation that has come up for this study is that telecom operator should heavily focus on ways to provide satisfaction to customers so that they stay with their network for longer period of time. Since telecom companies do not provide tangible products, their service quality is usually evaluated by measures of the service-provider’s relationship with customers. The main factors of customer satisfactions are network coverage, billing method, customer care center, promotion and value-added schemes, delivery of SMS & MMS quality.

As per the published news and information reliance Jio is in increasing its demand and having a target of 1 million subscribers in the saturated market of telecom in India. Various marketing strategies adopted by reliance to achieve the said target including free services, predatory pricing strategy, sales promotion, product development and so on. Due to this customer get delighted and started using reliance Jio as second SIM according to the article in Economic Times. All this helps Jio to change the consumer preference from one subscriber to another. Now all players of the market has started offering same price as Jio also provide cost free services to satisfy their customers. Thus the study involves in analyzing the perception of customer towards Jio as a brand. The data collected from 100 respondents with help of convenient sampling technique is used. Six dimensions are used to analyze the perception of brand. Findings prove that Jio is better in some dimension like value, culture, personality & usage but needs improvement in product and benefit aspects.

In this research paper, special emphasis has been laid over the comparative analysis of telecom companies AIRTEL and BSNL by using primary sources of data in Gwalior division of madhyapradesh. For the completion of efficient research work, descriptive and exploratory research design has been used which further conclude that BSNL is having weak Value Added Services as compared to Airtel. Trends of previous 5 years in Gwalior division have shown that BSNL company has slowly deteriorated its position.

The present study is basically an attempt to examine the customer satisfaction toward the existing attributes of Grameen phone and Teletalk based on Fishbein's Multi-Atribute Attitude Model. Twenty factors have been considered for justifying the result of this study. The research is based on the primary data. 200 respondents have been selected randomly from different areas of Khulna City in Bangladesh. In this study, the hypotheses were developed in the light of objectives of this study, where, H0 = there is no difference between mean of each attribute of Grameen phone and Teletalk, and H1 = there is difference between mean of each attribute of Grameen phone and Teletalk,. It has found that overall customer attitude toward Grameen Phone is 166.1923, whereas Teletalk is 78.939. In most of the cases (17 out of 20), customers show positive attitude towards Grameen Phone than that of Teletalk.
