2.  The installer should begin downloading. If at any point you see the Windows Defender Warning (below) during installation, please click on MORE INFO  and select RUN ANYWAY.  

3. Follow the installer instructions, clicking next.

4. Once this is complete, the Simulator Configuration tool will appear. If using a net return, please enter the following values pictured in this guide. If hitting into an Impact Screen, a 20ft tape measure is required to provide measurements for the Simulator Configuration Tool. Follow and complete each step outlined in the Simulator Configuration tool, click SAVE SETTINGS  and select the X in the top right-hand corner to proceed with the FSX Play installation. 

• Customer Note: DY & Azimuth should be left at 0 unless instructed by a Foresight Sports representative.

5. The Direct X setup screen will appear, accept the agreement and click NEXT. Select the default installation folder and then click NEXT  to proceed. (Default installation folder recommended to ensure easy installation of FSX Play courses later in this guide).

6. The option to select additional tasks to perform will now be available. Select the option of your preference and click NEXT.

• Customer Note: *Highly Recommended* select the Install of Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable (Required for FSX Play operation).
• Customer Note: Please only install the GC2 driver if you are using a GC2.

7. Allow the FSX Play installer to extract and install the files.

8. Congratulations your FSX Play installation is now complete, click FINISH.

Using FSX Play For The First Time

1. Before you can begin using your FSX Play software, you must download and install your FSX Play courses 

Download each of the basic course installation files below. These are free with FSX Play. Select the courses you have purchased and download the installation file from the purchased course library below.

• Customer Note: FSX Play comes with basic courses that require download for each one.
• Customer Note: Any additionally purchased courses must follow these FSX Course installation instructions .

To purchase a course license, please contact your sales or support person or visit our ONLINE STORE . All courses require a one-time online activation after installation.

Once the download is complete, users can either run the FSX Play golf course installation from their browser or locate the installation file from their downloads folder (below). To open the Downloads folder, click the windows explorer icon and select the DOWNLOADS  folder from the left-hand quick access.

5. At the welcome window, click NEXT .

6. Read and/or accept the User Agreements. Click NEXT  to proceed to install.

1. Click on the FSX Play icon located on your desktop or the directory where this is installed. The default directory is  C:\Program Files (x86)\FSX Play

2.  If this is their first time loading the software, users will be presented with the FSX Live Login screen. Once users have logged in to FSX Live they will be prompted to enter their activation code. These will be provided in the download email sent post-purchase.

Once logged in to FSX Live, users will be prompted to enter their activation code. If no license is found, users can manually enter their activation code or activate their software using their Launch Pro subscription.

Once you have redeemed your course license, it will be available for download and installation. Select the  Download and Install  icons to begin the process.

As in many MITx courses, Open Learning Library provides interactive course experiences that include auto-graded assessments that give you instant feedback and allow you to track your progress as you work your way through the subject matter. And like OCW, this content is always open and self-guided and includes no live support, discussion forum, or certificates.

Interactive Assessments and Progress Tracking

You can view and use all Open Learning Library materials without enrolling ( learn more here ). 

If you want to track your progress through a course, create a free Open Learning Library account, and then enroll in the course. The learning experience will be similar to MITx courses running on edX and MITx Online platforms. However, Open Learning Library does not include discussion forums, certificates, or the ability to transfer your progress to an active MITx course. 

Open Learning Library resources designated as OCW content are free to download, remix, and reuse for non-commercial purposes.  Resources designated as MITx content have varying licenses: some are All Rights Reserved, others Creative Commons, and some have mixed licenses. You will see the license type indicated on the About Pages.

Olympic Golf 2024: Where to Watch, Full Schedule

Team USA tees up for glory as a star-studded field of golfers is set to go for gold in Paris.

As the world anticipates the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris, golf fans have a lot to look forward to as some of the top players in the world are set to compete at  Le Golf National in Guyancourt .

Golfers qualify based on their official world rankings, with countries allowed a maximum of four players if all rank within the top 15, along with potential national qualification criteria and a guaranteed spot for the host country.

Key athletes to watch

The U.S. men are sending the maximum four golfers to the tournament: world no. 1 Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele (no. 3), Wyndham Clark (no. 5), and Collin Morikawa (no. 7). Schauffele took home gold at Tokyo 2020.

“It's super special – it's always an honor to represent your country in any given tournament or event, so it was really cool to share this with my family, the history and what the Olympics mean to my Dad, after winning the gold medal,” Schauffele said, when asked about his experience at Tokyo 2020 and upcoming Paris 2024.

“Playing for your country is always extremely exciting and it will be pretty surreal doing it on the Olympic stage,” Scheffler told Team USA . “It’s also good bragging rights for people that tell me golf is not a sport – I can say it’s an Olympic sport."

On the women's sde, top-ranked Nelly Korda  is returning to the Olympic field. A two-time Olympian, Korda won gold at Tokyo 2020.

"I'm honored to represent the United States once again on the Olympic stage this summer in Paris," Korda, 25, said in a USA Golf news release . "Winning the gold medal in Tokyo was a dream come true and an incredible highlight to my career."

Lilia Vu  (no. 2) and Rose Zhang  (no. 9) will join Korda on Team USA.  Zhang won her LPGA Tour debut in June 2023. She was a two-time NCAA champion while attending Stanford University in 2022 and 2023, per Team USA.

How to watch

Every day during the  Summer Olympics , NBC will offer fans at least nine hours of daytime coverage of the Games’ most exciting events, including live finals coverage of swimming, gymnastics, track and field, and more. Considering the time difference (Paris is six hours ahead of the U.S.’s eastern time zone), fans will be able to watch the day’s most popular events live on NBC in the morning and afternoon. NBC will also deliver an  enhanced Olympics primetime show  each night, providing three hours of must-see entertainment.

In addition, every event from  the Summer Olympics will be broadcast live on Peacock , which will be home to an innovative Olympics hub that will include "curated rails of live and upcoming events, dedicated in-depth hubs for nearly 40 sports, medal standings and an interactive schedule."
