In the present day, pink represents softness, which creates a way for the public to understand the essentials of utilizing a color that is neutral to all demographic issues. Pink has been known to be the favorite color of women as well as female children because it represents their gender when they use a material that is colored pink. In our society, pink generated a stereotype that makes the public to understand that pink is only for the women. However, our society is now becoming more diverse in the present society wherein pink is now becoming a neutral color for every person regardless of their gender. Sexual orientation has been prejudiced due to the association with pink color that has been relevant to the person’s association of a specific gender.

My favorite color is pink because it represents my personality as a person with a pure heart and soul. Speaking of personality, pink has been wrongly represented due to its association with gender specific norms and practices. In the present day, pink is not only applicable to girls but for the boys as well. This is depending on the clothes that they wear, the items that they use, and the structure that they dwell for a certain period of time. When I see the pink color, it reminds me of my favorite items such as toys, appliances, furniture, and electronic gadgets that are customized to suit my personality. In this case, wearing items that are colored in pink maximizes my whole personality in a new level because I can be able to establish an image that is unique from other people because of my interests and practices.

Pink is thought to be applied specifically for females. This is a culture that has been applied by conservative groups that always wants to preserve their tradition without accepting the changes and transitions of the society. The modernization process of our new society is capable of widening the knowledge and application of theorems of our society’s interests whenever we are going to apply our sensitivity on the things that we love and share. In this case, pink has been transitioning from a conservative color into a modernized shade so that the society will embrace the new face and identity of the pink color. In relation to my personality, I believe that it is completely transitioning because there are several factors that are associated with my interest and values that are projected to adjust with my present condition.

My favorite color has always been pink. The reason behind is that I want to preserve my own interest even if I am already getting old. The color pink is not only associated with the younger generations because it is an interest that affects anyone in our society for rendering their identities to the public. The interesting part of maximizing the heritage of the pink color is having the ability that adjust to the changing circumstances that every person should address. Overall, pink stimulates a transitioning environment that allows every individual to improve their productive response of changing the cultural perspectives of our present community. In this case, pink is now becoming a versatile color because it associates with the social norms and practices that are slowly becoming modernized and acceptable to the community of interest at a certain period of time (Stamberg, 2014).

Color psychology suggests that different colors can have an impact on our moods, feelings, and even behaviors. The color pink, for example, is thought to be a calming color associated with love, kindness, and femininity.

Many people immediately associate the color pink with all things feminine and girly. It might also bring to mind romance and holidays such as Valentine's Day. Some shades of pale pink are described as relaxing, while very bright, vibrant shades can be stimulating or even aggravating.

Pink is a light red hue and is typically associated with love and romance. It is often described as a feminine color, perhaps due to associations people form during early childhood. "Girls' toys" are usually pink and purple, while "boys' toys" are often red , yellow , green , or blue . People associate the color with qualities that are often thought of as feminine, such as softness, kindness, nurturing, and compassion.

Pink is also the color of Breast Cancer Awareness month, during which people wear a pink ribbon to honor survivors and those who have died of the disease.

Pinkwashing is a term used to describe practices that appear to promote LGBTQ+ rights or breast cancer awareness to downplay negative aspects of a corporation or political entity.

The term pink tax is also used to describe the fact that women often pay more for products marketed specifically for women.

Pink is thought to have a calming effect. One shade known as "drunk-tank pink" is sometimes used in prisons to calm inmates.

While pink's calming effect has been demonstrated, researchers of color psychology have found that this effect only occurs during the initial exposure to the color.   When used in prisons, inmates often become even more agitated once they become accustomed to the color.

Sports teams sometimes paint the opposing team's locker room pink to keep the players passive and less energetic. The Iowa Hawkeyes have a pink visiting team locker room at their Kinnick Stadium conceived by Iowa coach Hayden Fry, who had majored in psychology at Baylor University. He believed that the all-pink room would mess with the minds of the opposing teams. 

What Does the Color Pink Mean?

It is important to remember that color associations are heavily affected by individual experiences and cultural influences.   Color preferences are often linked to past experiences.

People who are drawn to pink (or any specific color) tend to have pleasant memories of the color, while those who don't like it may have negative or unpleasant associations with it.

The specific shade of pink can affect associations and meanings. A light pink is often viewed as soft, healing, and peaceful, whereas a hot pink might be seen as bold, exciting, and alarming.

Color allows us to see the world in all its natural beauty. If you are writing essays about colors, you can start by reading some essay examples. 

Almost everyone has gotten a glimpse of the wonders of colors, but what are they? To be precise, color is scientifically defined as “ the aspect of things that is caused by differing qualities of light being reflected or emitted by them .” When light shines on objects, it reflects, producing different shades of light and allowing us to see and differentiate colors.

She also briefly explains the importance of introducing children to color- it sparks creativity and increases their awareness. 

“In conclusion, color is life and as matter of fact, it is everything. It determines the mood anyone could have within those inner rooms. Therefore, it is imperative that while trying to set up either of your living room, bedroom, kitchen or dining room, the right color combinations are used. These will not only make those rooms attractive, but also determine the level of productivity that could occur there.”

In Nash’s essay, she elaborates on the importance of color choice, particularly in interior design. Specific colors make a room feel more spacious, relaxing, and luxurious, and different colors work well for different rooms. Nash suggests some color combinations and their supposed effects on humans and reminds us that color choices can “make or break” a house.

Colors are significant in Indian culture and remind us of light, whether actual light or the “light” of the divine entities the Indians honor. 

Writing Prompts On Essays about Colors

Plain and simple, you can write your essay about your favorite color. Explain why it is your favorite, what it means to you, and how you feel when you see it- perhaps you associate it with specific memories or people. Your essay should include personal anecdotes based on your own opinion. 

Color blindness is a phenomenon in which people have difficulty telling the difference between specific colors. Do some research on the topic and discuss the impacts that color blindness has on people. If you are color blind, reflect on how you see color, but if you are not, you must base your essay on the online experiences of color blind people. 

From room interiors to clothing to animals, color can make a striking difference in the way we perceive things. Think of examples in which something’s color impacts your impressions of it, and explain how other colors or combinations may change your perception. You can give either one example or multiple, but be sure to explain it in sufficient detail. 

For your essay, write about a cultural or religious tradition involving color. It can be an art form, festival, ritual, or anything else you can find, including Holi, the festival discussed in Finlay’s essay. Write about the cultural significance of colors in this tradition; you can also include a brief reflection on the tradition and colors. 

Similarly, you can write about the impact color has on a work of art. Choose a painting, photograph, film, or anything else, and analyze the color choices. Write about the role color plays in work- explain its effect on the viewers and how it could make them feel.

Is Pink the Secret to Euphoric Beauty? Decoding the Iconic Color

Fans of pink know–there’s something wonderful about putting on the color. Whether it’s a shocking swipe of orchid lipstick or pastel cotton candy colored hair, it’s an instant injection of punchy positivity. “Pink made me happier,” Nicki Minaj recently said on the Vogue podcast ahead of the release of her new album Pink Friday 2 , which is out today. “I love looking at pink anything. I started with a little bit of pink in the back of my black hair . Once I realized that, I wanted more. It was like an addiction to constantly looking over the top.”

From Barbie to TikTok's Coquette movement and those who recently took the pink-haired plunge ( Emma Corrin and Tracee Ellis Ross ), the hue is definitely in its comeback era and speaks volumes about unbridled joy. Powerfully present and ultra-girly–that’s just some of what pink is today. But it's not quiet–it roars with intention and makes a bold statement; whether it’s a little saccharine sweet bow or a deep fuschia blush. For so many, this color represents girlhood and sisterhood and is deeply embraced for its association with nostalgia and happiness. Truly—pink doesn’t have any gender—but many are embracing that it represents the fact that it's former associations with being a girl are actually quite powerful.

Camri Hewie , a model and content creator has been loving the shade since her mother put her in ballet classes at two years old–all dressed up in different shades of pink. She can often be seen wearing the color head-to-toe, in fluffy gowns, corseted mini dresses or slinky slip dresses; the finishing touch being her beauty routine. “If you came into my room you would see that my whole entire vanity is filled with pink beauty products and trinkets; from my Pat McGrath Divine Blush in the color Fleurotique to my favorite perfume Delina Exclusif by Parfums de Marly that is packaged in the most perfect baby pink bottle,” she says. “Wearing the color pink makes me feel happy because I always feel like I’m honoring my inner child and girlhood. I feel the most confident and the most ‘myself’ when I implement the color pink into my wardrobe.”

Likewise, Kitten Kay Sera , dubbed the “Pinkest Person in the World” by Ripley’s Believe It or Not, has been exclusively wearing pink since 1980 and believes that there is no other color that brings as much happiness. With her vibrant hair and matching eyeshadow, she can’t imagine putting on any other hue. She journey started with an all-pink birthday outfit; a pink skirt and off-the-shoulder sweater, and describes having “a spiritual awakening” from the experience. From that day on, she gave away anything that wasn’t pink to her four sisters. “I feel like myself in pink. I don't know how to put it, but that's just me,” she says. She thinks of it as instant serotonin, too. “My whole house is pink, so I wake up in a good mood,” she says. “I really believe that. It's the highest vibration of all the colors, so it just makes you feel good. And I'm never depressed or sad. How many people can really say that? I mean, truthfully, and I don't know if you know, but I married the color pink because I love it so much.” Early on, she started dyeing anything she couldn’t find in her favorite color, and wearing pink hats until she decided to fully dye her hair pink in 2013.

There is indeed a science of feeling great about incorporating pink into one’s beauty routine. “The impact of the color pink, particularly when worn as makeup or hair color, extends beyond mere aesthetics; it has psychological and social implications,” says Kim Homan, licensed therapist and clinical director at Tennessee Behavioral Health. “Pink, traditionally associated with qualities of compassion, love, and understanding, can influence both the wearer's mood and the perception of those around them.” If you want to boost your mood–pink is proven to have calming effects . “Socially, pink can convey approachability and warmth,” she adds. “It's a color that often signifies nurturing and kindness, traits that can positively influence social interactions. For instance, someone who wears pink might be perceived as more friendly and approachable, which can facilitate better communication and relationships with others.”

Perhaps it goes beyond that too: Pink is a staple in most people’s beauty arsenals because of the way it makes others perceive them psychologically, dating back thousands of years. “Pink makeup has been used for thousands of years, since ancient Egyptian and Roman cultures, to enhance the natural coloration of cheeks and lips to signal health, youth, and vitality,” says Catherine Franssen, neuroscientist and professor of biology at Longwood University. “Pink cheeks and lips can indicate a healthy cardiovascular system and may also indicate that a person is emotionally excited—such as when we blush in the presence of our desirable crush.”

Research literally proves there’s a reason for all the crushing on pink: “When the person we are attracted to is flushed pink, indicating that they are also attracted to us, we find them even more desirable,” adds Franssen. “So adding a bit of pink to the face should lead to people being more attracted to us. And that’s not just for sexual attraction, but also keeps people’s attention longer, encourages them to make eye contact, and can improve professional as well as personal interactions.”

As someone who changes my hair color on a whim, I can attest that pink really is a powerful color. It’s a hue I always come back to time and time again for comfort and joy. It’s one of the few unnatural hair colors that goes with everything and flatters everyone. It really is the people’s color.

Whether or not you opt for pink as a rule of passion or happiness, it also feels like a reclamation of girlhood at a time when it’s much needed. Hewrie describes remembering a point in her early twenties when she was a bit reluctant to wear pink because she felt that she was infantilizing herself and people wouldn’t take her seriously–especially men. “But now as I’ve grown a bit and gotten over my own internalized misogyny, I realize that people absolutely love my pink looks and I receive compliments from people of many different age groups and demographics. I’ve always felt like a flamingo in a flock of pigeons, especially living in New York City, so it’s nice having people appreciate my looks that incorporate my favorite color,” she says.

“Pink to me, is more than a lifestyle,” adds Sera. “It's more than a color.” Every morning, she gets ready at her old Hollywood style vanity surrounded by feather-trimmed vintage inspired robes (everything is all in pink, of course) before joining her all-girl band, the Pinktastic Plastixx, who each wear a sculpted pink bob. “No other color makes me as happy, or has a personality of its own. That's what pink does. It has personality.”

In a recent article, published in the November 2020 issue of Neuroscience and Biobehavioral Reviews , Melissa Hines of the University of Cambridge reviews the latest findings on the development of gender , such as the role of testosterone and socialization and how the two interact (e.g., why girls tend to like the color pink). The present post is a selective summary of this review.

Testosterone and gender development

Let us begin with hormones . Hormones can have a temporary effect on development—an effect that rises and falls depending on the hormone concentration . For instance, estrogen has feminizing effects (e.g., breast development) at puberty .

Hormones can also have organizational influences, causing changes that persist even when the hormone is no longer present.

Testosterone is one hormone with such organizational influences.

Consider the effects of testosterone early in life. The concentration of testosterone is much higher in males than females, particularly from week 8 to week 16 or 24 of pregnancy , and from the first to the third month of infancy.

These are probably the critical periods during which testosterone causes sex -related organizational influences, ultimately reducing female-typical and increasing male-typical behaviors.

Since testosterone influences attributes that show sex differences, it may be helpful to know which behaviors show the largest average sex differences. Those would be gender role behaviors (e.g., preferred toys, sex of playmates), sexual orientation , and gender identity (one’s sense of self as female or male or both). Other characteristics often showing large sex differences include cognitive spatial abilities, empathy, dominance, and physical aggression .

Most of the findings on the effects of testosterone come from animal research or the study of genetic variations in humans. One such genetic variant is congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) .

CAH is associated with high levels of testosterone exposure. Compared to unaffected females, females with CAH show more male-typical gender role behaviors and are more likely to be bisexual or homosexual. It has been estimated that about 2 percent ultimately identify as men, which is a much larger percentage than the overall population estimate.

Socialization and gender development

Early testosterone exposure is not the only factor influencing gender behavior. Both self-socialization and external socialization are important too.

External socialization refers to the effects of encouragement of particular kinds of activities by other people (e.g., parents, friends, classmates, teachers).

Everything we see is colorful when we open our eyes. Our world is filled with colors and we are all surrounded by them every day despite the impact that color has on us in our everyday lives. The role of color in our daily lives is varied. This includes knowing that a fruit is ripe to eat, to understanding how color can affect and influence our lives in a multitude of ways.

As a matter of fact, according to science, color is actually known as the light of different wavelengths and frequencies. Light is one form of energy that we can actually perceive because it is a form of energy that is composed of photons that we have seen before. Color is only a small part of a much larger spectrum of electromagnetic waves of energy that

 There are many ways in which color can influence our emotions, our actions, and how we respond to different situations, people, things, and ideas. Color and its impact on our daily lives have been the subject of a great deal of research and writing over the years. It seems to me that the only color that comes to mind first when I close my eyes and visualize is the color blue.

There is no doubt that blue is a color that is considered to be cool. One of the reasons why blue is my favorite color is that it complements almost all of the other colors in the spectrum. This is why it is my favorite color. As far as backdrops are concerned, navy blue is the king. As an interesting point of interest, blue is the color of the universe as well as nature, which includes the sky, sea, sleep, and twilight.

Aside from that, blue is also a color that is associated with inspiration, sincerity, modernization, and spirituality. People who are conservative tend to choose blue as their favorite color. There is something calming about this color, which makes it an ideal color to use at home, at work, and in a variety of other places.

I have been looking out my window for a while now and on the horizon, there is almost a white-washed blue hue which deepens to a deep ocean blue as I look upwards. The color blue, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful and soothing colors out there.

There is no doubt that Chelsea Football Club is my favorite football team. Interestingly enough, blue is the team’s official color and they have a long-standing reputation for being known as the “blues”. As I looked at the color blue here, I realized how sporty it is.

Additionally, I like the color blue for a variety of reasons, one of which is that I have found some interesting facts about the color itself. It is believed that blue has both physical and mental benefits.

The effects of this compound include a slowing down of human metabolism as well as a calming effect. The calm effect can be achieved by painting the walls of a room blue if one is on a healthy diet and wants to work out. There is a strong association between this color and calmness and tranquility.

According to heraldry, blue is associated with goodness and sincerity and is therefore often used in heraldry. Due to the fact that blue has never been an overwhelmingly emotional color, it can be argued that it represents both sides in a melancholy way. There is never a need to resort to extremes when being overly emotional, although there are times when it can lead to this.

When it washes over you, it is the color that refreshes the mind and the color that evokes feelings of relief. Apart from that, I would like to let you know that I am a male. There is a common misconception that blue is a color associated with men. There has been a lot of research indicating that people are highly accepting of it.

There is something about this color that is masculine and calm at the same time for me. It is not uncommon for me to wear something in this color, regardless of whether it is light, medium, or dark blue. The fact that blue is the color that I prefer the most does not imply that other colors are less desirable.

Ultimately, there are endless reasons why blue seems to be the most interesting color in my eyes. However, it is also the most wonderful color that appears in my eyes for a variety of reasons. Nothing brightens up my day like blue, the inspiring color.

It's probably been years (or even decades) since someone has asked you what your favorite color is. But even if you no longer have a preferred crayon in the Crayola box, it's likely you gravitate toward certain hues when it comes to your home decor and clothes. As it turns out, your favorite color in adulthood can be directly tied to your personality traits. Keep reading to hear from therapists and color experts about this connection.

Blue is the world's most popular color. Really— a 2015 study conducted by YouGov asked people across 10 countries on four continents what their favorite color was, and blue was number one in every location.

The universal appeal of this color is "most likely because of its association with the sky and water," explains Lisa Lawless , PhD, psychotherapist and CEO of Holistic Wisdom . In this regard, blue evokes feelings of relaxation and tranquility.

And people who gravitate toward those feelings are often empathetic, honest, reliable, and strong problem solvers, says Michele Goldman , psychologist and  Hope for Depression Research Foundation  media advisor.

Blue also signals that you're trustworthy. In fact, as Lawless notes, studies have shown that wearing blue makes you appear more trustworthy to others. This is also why businesses like banks tend to incorporate this color.

The shade of blue one favors, however, could add nuances to their personality type. "Light blues [are] connected to an easygoing and peaceful individual," says Lawless. "Sky blue tends to exude more free-spirited and optimistic associations, and turquoise is often associated with uniqueness and individuality, while cobalt blue conveys a vibrant and energetic personality."

One negative aspect of a blue-lover's personality is "that these folks can be overthinkers, self-critical, and struggle with feelings of insecurity," adds Goldman.

Like blue, green is connected to nature. In this case, the color is typically "associated with health and balance," says Lawless.

"People who prefer the color green tend to be productive, driven…highly intelligent, and perfectionistic," explains Goldman. She adds that their level-headedness is often calming for both themselves and others.

Of course, there are many shades of this color. Earthy, olive greens "tend to go hand in hand with people who are excellent mediators and who value balance and stability," shares Lawless. Emerald green is associated with confidence and ambition, while mint green is linked to kindness, optimism, and gentleness.

This is the color of royalty and for good reason. "Purple tends to be vibrant and powerful, a bold color with a bold personality," points out Goldman.

For this reason, those who prefer purple aren't afraid to be themselves and are often artistic, spiritual, and imaginative.

"Dark purples are associated with sophistication, introspection, and creativity," explains Lawless. "In comparison, lighter purples such as lavender and lilac are more associated with sensitivity, compassion, and a harmonious presence."

But the highly emotional and whimsical nature of these folks means they feel things deeply, "which can lead to moodiness and feelings of being misunderstood," cautions Goldman.

Lawless notes that pinkish purples tend to attract romantics, but this is even more true for people whose favorite color is pink itself. "Pink is often associated with femininity, tenderness, and compassion," she says.

Bold, powerful, strong, passionate, extroverted—these are all adjectives used to describe people who love red.

"They are usually a force to be reckoned with and tend to be confident and ambitious," shares Lawless. "This is especially true for those who love bright red."

And that vivacious nature can affect attractiveness. As Best Life previously explained, separate studies concurred that wearing red can make a person appear more attractive .

But Goldman points out that all this recognition "can manifest in aggression…or attention-seeking behaviors."

To this point, a 2014 study published in the Journal of Personality found that "there was a relationship between a preference for the color red and hostile social decision making ."

As for those who prefer rusty, earthy reds, they "tend to be more grounded and appreciate stability, tradition, and a sense of security," says Lawless.

People usually love or hate orange, and for those in the former group, you can expect them to be enthusiastic, engaging, and social.

"Individuals with this color personality might be more likely to be adventurous and daring, bold with their choices, approachable and friendly towards others," says Goldman.

However, she explains, "With adventure and spontaneity comes unpredictability and inconsistency." So, you may find that these people put their own needs before others and place judgment on those who aren't as carefree.

Lawless adds that brighter oranges are connected to "vibrant and cheerful confidence," while burnt oranges match with "a down-to-earth, reliable person who values stability." If someone prefers coral hues, they're likely creative and artistic.

"Yellow is a mentally stimulating color, and people who gravitate toward [it] tend to be imaginative, social, and enthusiastic," shares Lawless. It is, after all, the color of light and happiness.

"Those who love golden yellows tend to lean more toward wisdom, intelligence, and luxury, while pale yellows convey a sense of purity and a peaceful demeanor," Lawless adds.

And while Goldman agrees that yellow represents charisma, confidence, and a sense of humor, "People who lean towards yellow personalities are seen to struggle with anxiety and perfectionistic tendencies," she says. "They also might struggle with organization and lack discipline."

The colour orange describes me perfectly. Since I was a baby, my favourite colour has been orange. My notebook covers every year, my favourite fruit and now the colour of my pencil box, all of then are orange.

Orange is a colour that is loved by all. It makes people feel good, warm and cosy.

For me, orange reminds me of the season autumn or fall. I love watching the orange dried leaves falling from trees and falling on the ground every year. The ripe and huge orange pumpkins ready to be used for Halloween are my favourites and I love watching sunsets where the sky is orange in colour.

Just thinking about orange makes me want to eat the fruit. Even though the fruit can be both sour and sweet at times, I really like to eat it.

Many people say that the colour orange makes them think of success, warmth, goodness, generosity, cleverness, and excitement among others. As it is a combination of the colours yellow and red, it is used by painters to make beautiful paintings.

In my house, all my plates, water bottles, toys and the carpet in my room are also made of orange colour. Orange is also declared as the national colour of the Netherlands. The middle traffic light is orange in colour in France.

I have a dream that one day I can create a world full of orange just like a chocolate world factory from the book Charlie and the chocolate factory written by Roald Dahl. In my dream, once you enter the orange world, you can see that everything is made out of orange things.

The sky is orange in colour and made out of orange cotton candy clouds. A river flows by which is made out of orange juice. In the wonder orange land, there will be houses made out of orange-flavoured chocolates and playgrounds made of orange toffees and chewing gums. Trees are made out of orange candy sticks and popcorn made out of orange flavour that is made like grass. What a beautiful world that would be!

Orange is a very bright colour, that is why orange is used to make traffic signs as it can be seen from far away. It is also used to makes advertisements so that people turn and look at it. Orange colour coats are worn by traffic police in some parts of the world so that they can be seen from afar.

It is also the colour used while making hazard cones and in inflatable life rafts that can be found on aeroplanes, ships, and other places as well.

It’s my favourite pass time to note information about the colour orange such as, that there are many shades of orange. Here is some example about the different shades of orange that I know about: there is a dark orange shade that is usually known as terracotta or cayenne orange, then there is a reddish-orange colour known as persimmon, a class is an orange colour known as pumpkin, then a yellowish-orange Colour known as mango, a pinkish-orange colour known as salmon orange and a light orange colour known as melon orange.

Out of all these, my favourite shade is persimmon orange because it is very bright orange and I love bright colours. When I was younger I used to only like classic orange or pumpkin orange but now I have started liking all the different shades as well. I now have a plan to buy persimmon orange sunglasses before my summer vacations start this year and I am so excited.

When I grow up, I want to buy my own orange-coloured car. I will also ask for an orange bicycle once I learn how to ride cycles.

For Holi this year, everyone was putting colours like pink, blue, yellow, green and red. But I went to play Holi with six packets of just orange colour powder and put one packet of colour on myself only.

Once I grow up and buy my own house, I will paint all the walls in my house orange. My parents do not let me put orange paint on our walls right now but when I get my own house I will paint them orange!

What is Your Favorite Color?

                My favorite color is pink. There are a lot of special colors, but the color pink is the color for my personality. The first uniform I got was pink. Before they used to be only white. White is beautiful and clean, but I think pink better expresses the peace and contentment of me. In conclusion, people who wear pink are supposed to be warm and understanding. The message that you would like to share is your peace and happiness with others. That’s why pink is my color.

There are a few reasons why I love blue. First of all, when it comes to blue, it reminds me of the sky and ocean - which gives me a feeling of freedom. I'm really jealous of the birds and the fish, because I can't fly like a bird and actually I don't know how to swim in the water. I wish I could fly or swim like the birds or the fish, to enjoy the wind and the water. Since the sky and ocean are so broad, they can do whatever they want. It’s so free. In addition, I deem the blue lets me calm down. Blue is the kind of cold color. When I’m losing control of my emotions, such as being angry or feeling nervous, I can see something in blue and unable to calm down and keep my thoughts more clear. What’s more, I think it depends on my own personality. I got information in the book that told me those who like blue, need lots of attention from the people around them and they are very emotional. In brief, I love blue because it makes me feel free, and it relates to my character.

            Green is my favorite color because it is the color of nature. To me, green represents life. For example, the trees are green and they give oxygen to the world. This way we can live in it. I think green is my favorite color, because I’m a naturalist. According to colorgenic experts, green has a calming and restful effect. In conclusion, green has a good positive effect on me.             My favorite color is brown. I knew it since I was a child. Every time I felt tired, I always colored in my coloring book and shows the color brown. Even as I got older, I still like brown. I like to wear brown shorts. It feels so comfortable. I know that brown goes with my personality, because it makes me feel free and it always makes me feel happy.

Why Do I Like Blue & White?

            Blue and white has always been present in my life, but I really don’t know why. I like the sky. It has blue and white in it. I also like the ocean, because it’s the mirror of the sky. It seems blue even if it does not have any color. I adore white. I got more white shirts than any other colors in my closet. I don't even own a blue shirt. I like to wear white and I’d like to watch the color blue in the sky. In conclusion, I guess I like these colors because… I still don’t know why! I guess I would know it if I knew what blue and white meant. So all I can say is that I like blue and white.

            My favorite color is pink. As for me, pink is the most romantic color. Whenever I see the color pink, I feel comfortable and happy. Every time when I shop around, I am looking for something pink. Pink also lets me feel warm. It really represents my personality. I am the person who asked patients tolerance and love. I am also an easy-going person. Therefore, pink represents me. Color genic experts say that pink expresses the peace and contentment of the wear. I like to share my peace and happiness with others. I want to make everybody feel happy. Just like the color pink makes me feel happy. That’s the reason why I like pink.

       Blue is my favorite color. Because I like watching the blue sky. It makes me feel pleasure. I like swimming in the sea, it makes me comfortable on hot days. I like wearing blue jeans, it is a good match with any T-shirt. Blue is around me every day in my world; it is the only color I like. The color blue makes me cool down. This is why blue is so special to me.
