When I applied I feel like there was a grade cutoff (high 80s/low 90s) and then you supplementary essay is what set you apart. In my year, I think the competitive average was ~96. You have a better chance at getting into the program with a low 90 and an amazing essay over a high 90 and a not so great essay.
Queen's Health Science vs Western Medical Science
I have received an offer from Queens Health Sci and commerce, and Western Med sci. Waiting for Mcmaster Health sci but the chance is slim since I did really bad on the supplementary essays. I know many people chose Western Medical science because it is a well structured program.
